SCU Helps Develop New Energy Vehicles in Southeast Asia

With the rapid growth of the automotive industry in Southeast Asia, Malaysia, as the third largest economy in Southeast Asia, has shown great development potential in the field of new energy vehicles.

SCU attended the 2024 IALTA – Proton Automotive Supplier Technology Exchange & New Product Line Matchmaking Meeting held by Proton Motors of Malaysia from August 21 to 22, 2024, as well as the Southeast Asia-China (Malaysia) New Energy Vehicle Industry Chain Exchange and Cooperation Conference. The meeting aims to strengthen cooperation between China and Malaysia in the automotive industry and trade and promote the development and mass production of advanced new technologies, new processes and new products of China-Europe new energy vehicles in Proton’s iterative models.

In this era swept by the wave of green energy, electric vehicles are entering thousands of households at an unprecedented speed and have become an important force in promoting low-carbon transformation in the transportation sector. Behind this green revolution, a series of efficient and intelligent charging infrastructure is indispensable as a solid support. SCU is committed to paving the “energy highway” for the popularization and development of electric vehicles with excellent technology and innovative products.

Green future, starting from EV chargers

In the broad blueprint of electric vehicles, EV chargers are not only “gas stations” for vehicle endurance, but also bridges connecting the dream of green travel with reality. SCU continues to deepen the technology of EV chargers and is committed to providing safe, efficient and convenient charging solutions.

SCU EVMS series EV chargers meet multiple charging standards such as CCS, CHAdeMO, GB/T, support OCPP, and can charge all electric vehicles that meet the standards. The system is equipped with a DC charging module developed and produced by SCU, with a capacity of 30kW, which meets the power replenishment needs in different scenarios.

1. Dual-gun EV charger:

Dual-gun charging at the same time, efficient power replenishment.

2. Split DC EV charger:

The charging module and the control module are separated. The DC charger can be equipped with 8-12 charging terminals, which can easily cope with the charging needs of multiple cars at the same time.

3. Wall-mounted EV charger:

Cleverly utilizes the wall space, the wall-mounted design is beautiful and generous and supports smart interconnection. Users can remotely control it through the mobile phone APP and enjoy a convenient and efficient charging experience.

From home slow EV chargers to commercial fast charging stations, from intelligent dispatching systems to remote monitoring platforms, SCU uses a full range of service systems to meet charging needs in different scenarios, so that every electric car can easily “have no worries about endurance”.

PV+ESS Integrated system

In the face of the growing demand for electric vehicle charging, the integration of energy storage technology has become the key to improving the operating efficiency of charging stations and alleviating the pressure on the power grid. SCU integrates new energy storage conversion, DC flexible super fast charging, and electrical closely follows the industry trend, deeply integrates energy storage technology with charging equipment, and launches an integrated production, energy storage and EV charging solution.

The digital energy management platform is integrated to achieve AC/DC bidirectional conversion and 8-20 minutes of super-fast charging for electric vehicles, ensuring power conversion, grid interaction, electric vehicle charging and system safety.

The system can not only effectively utilize the peak-valley electricity price difference to reduce charging costs, but also release the stored electricity during peak grid loads to provide stable and reliable charging services for electric vehicles. Smart energy storage makes green travel more economical and environmentally friendly.

Technological innovation leads the future

On the road of technological innovation, SCU has never stopped, constantly breaking through technical bottlenecks and exploring new boundaries of charging technology, from high-power fast charging technology to wireless charging technology, from intelligent identification and adaptive charging algorithms to remote fault diagnosis and maintenance. SCU knows that promoting the development of the electric vehicle industry is not only a technical challenge but also a responsibility for the future. Therefore, the company has always taken green, low-carbon and sustainable development as its core values, and is committed to helping optimize and upgrade the global energy structure by providing high-quality charging products and services.
